Amazon Prime’s New Fashion Show You Won’t Be Able To Stop Watching

If you haven’t seen Amazon Prime’s new show “Making The Cut” - stop what you're doing. Former “Project Runway” duo Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn have come together once again, this time to host Amazon Prime’s newest fashion competition show. Grab your popcorn!

The show follows 12 designers from all over the world looking for their one chance to become the next global fashion sensation. The contestants are well-established designers with their own stores, companies, and famous clientele.

Every week contestants are put through a set of challenges that push them as entrepreneurs and designers. Each challenge looks for a “runway” look and an “accessible” look - a great opportunity for the designer’s to show off their range to a panel of very impressive judges.

The list of judges is an impressive one and we’ve broken it down for you:

  • Naomi Campbell: An English model, actress, and businesswoman, Naomi Campbell has established herself as one of the most recognizable models around the globe.

    Nicole Richie: Famously known for the television series The Simple Life, Nicole Richie has since become a television personality, author, actress, and designer.

    Chiara Ferragni: Chiara Ferragni is an Italian fashion blogger who launched her blog “The Blonde Salad” in 2009. Since then, she has acquired over 19 million followers on Instagram and has become the most famous fashion blogger in the world.

    Carine Roitfeld: Carine Roitfield is the former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, a title she held for ten years. She is also a former model and writer.

    Joseph Altuzaara: A French clothing designer, Joseph Altuzaara creates luxury women’s ready-to-wear clothing. His designs are inspired by his international and multicultural upbringing and have been featured on the runway, including the runway of the 2019 Met Gala.

The show premiered on Amazon Prime with two episodes on Friday, March 27. The 10-episode show will continue to release two episodes every week until the finale on April 24.

Because Heidi and Tim have teamed up with Amazon to launch the next global fashion business, the winner will not only win a million dollar cash prize, but he or she will also get the opportunity to create an exclusive collection that will be made available worldwide through Amazon Fashion (someone - sign us up!!).
