The GOAT cast of Jeopardy is teaming up for their own spinoff - a new ABC quiz show called The Chase.

Originally a hit British show that's been on for years, ABC gave the greenlight to purchase the franchize and put their own twist on the format by bringing in the best competitors from Jeopardy. This upcoming season will star Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter and James Holzhauer. The season premier date has yet to be announced, however, we do know that the production just wrapped casting (which was listed on castingdepot.com).

Hosted by Sara Haines from The View, she'll share the stage with Holzhaauer, Jennings and Rutter as they take turns being the "Chaser". Each episode is set to kick off new contestants whom face-off against the Chaser in witty trivia questions spanning all different topics (166 per episode, actually). Cash prizes are awarded at the end of every episode.

ITV America's ITV Entertainment is the studio behind the new series with executive producers Adam Sher, Bernie Schaeffer and Vin Rubino.

In previous versions of The Chase (Fox previously shot, however Game Show Network eventually released it), there have been multiple seasons with Daytime Emmy nominations. We're hoping this U.S. spin is just as good!
