It’s safe to say that these past few weeks have left many of us feeling a bit cooped up. And if you’ve been following the safe practice of social isolation (we hope that you are), then you know that staying at home for a long period of time can quickly become isolating.

If you're craving to stay connected with friends, then we have the solution for you.

Netflix Party is a Google Chrome Extension that allows you to binge watch all of your favorite movies and tv-shows at the same time as your friends.

Forget the hassle of trying to synchronize movies with all your friends - you can now start, stop, and pause Netflix content in real time. Don’t want others to have control over the movie? There's also an option to make one person the host, which gives them control of the party. The extension even has a side-chat feature that allows you to chat about what is happening during the movie.

  • Step 1: Download the Netflix Party Google Chrome Extension [here](https://www.netflixparty.com) for free. Install by clicking on “Add to Chrome” in the Chrome Web Store.
    	Step 2:

Find a movie or tv-show that you and your besties are wanting to watch. Once you have the movie selected, click on the “NP” button in your browser. The extension will generate a unique URL that you can then send to the people joining the party.

    Step 3:

Make sure to let the guests of your party know that they have to click on the “NP” button as well once they have clicked on the unique party URL. From there, everyone is put into a chatroom with nicknames.

Staying connected has never been easier and with the right tools we can continue to stay social and check up on our friends. And what better way to do so then get together for a movie night?

Happy Netflixing!
